You catch my drift.

So here is the recipe for these tasty (yet intense) shots! I personally like to drink a shot glass full every morning! Unless I am feeling sick, then I will take 2!

Ingredients

  • 5-6 lemons, peel removed

  • ~ 1 C ginger root

  • ~ 1 C turmeric root (if you cannot find, you can substitute with 2 Tbsp of turmeric powder)

  • 1 apple, whatever type you prefer

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 4 oz apple cider vinegar

Please wash all produce very well before juicing or blending!

2 options to make it:

  1. Juicer

    • Juice lemons, ginger, turmeric and apple. Add 16 oz water, cayenne pepper and vinegar. Mix well and enjoy!

  2. Blender

    • Blend lemons, ginger, turmeric and apple with 16 oz of water and apple cider vinegar. Strain through a nut milk bag (link below) - do about a cup at a time and squeeze through (I recommend using disposable gloves as turmeric stains. Stir in cayenne pepper and enjoy!

NOTE: I love storing these in a pitcher like the one in the link below because it’s easy to stir it up before you drink it every day! Much easier than using a whisk!
